The Kind of Friend Who Tells You the Truth | Anchor Points | Ep. 37

Have you ever had someone tell you something you didn’t necessarily want to hear… but needed to?

There’s a difference between someone who keeps things easy—and someone who truly cares.

In today’s Anchor Point, I’m sharing a personal story that highlights how real love sometimes looks like honesty, even when it’s uncomfortable.

Because the people who care about us most aren’t the ones who ignore what’s hurting us.

They’re the ones willing to gently tell the truth.

And that kind of love reflects the way God cares for us too.

Scripture (NIV):

John 8:11 — “No one, sir,” she said.

“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

Reflection Questions:

Do I have people in my life who are honest with me in love?

How do I respond when I hear hard truths?

How can I show that same kind of care to others?
