Episode 36
Knowing About God Isn’t the Same as Knowing Him | Anchor Points | Ep. 36
Have you ever felt like you knew a lot about someone… but didn’t actually know them?
It’s easy to do that today. We can look people up, read about them, scroll through their lives—but that doesn’t create a real relationship.
In today’s Anchor Point, I’m reflecting on the difference between knowing information and truly knowing someone—and how that applies to our faith.
Because the same can happen with God.
We can learn, read, and gather knowledge… but real connection happens in His presence.
And that’s where faith starts to feel personal.
Scripture (NIV):
Philippians 3:10 — “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,”
Reflection Questions:
Do I spend more time learning about God or being with Him?
What does “knowing God personally” look like in my life?
How can I create more space to connect with Him?
