I Asked God for a Sign, Then I Ignored It | Anchor Points | Ep. 67

Have you ever asked God for a sign and then ignored the opportunity when it appeared? I once prayed for a chance to share my faith with someone at work. Later that day, a conversation opened the door, but I talked myself out of saying anything.

A few hours later, the same person brought up faith again. The opportunity could not have been much clearer, but I still let fear and doubt take over.

Sharing our faith does not have to mean pressuring someone or having all the right words. Sometimes it simply means being willing to enter the conversation God has already placed in front of us. My prayer is that the next time the sign is flashing, I will not close my eyes.

Scripture (ESV):

Colossians 4:5: “Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time.”
